Just Call Me Julia Child

So I've decided to dedicate this blog post to my MeMe, because she has been
the one encouraging me to cook more.  So I have taken her words of wisdom, and I have cooked more.  I am the master of microwaving frozen chicken and veggies and calling that cooking, but this semester I have really started trying to ACTUALLY cook.  Now,  if you know my mom and you have either had a baby, gotten sick, bought a house, had someone die, or live with me/my brother; then you know that Jill can make one heck of a casserole.  Well because of her and her awesome recipes, I can make a pretty decent casserole  along with pot roast and any other way to throw crap in a pot/pan and cook it kind of meal.  But I wanted to learn how to cook something else, like roasted chicken for instance. Now I was not going to just go buy a bunch of random stuff, throw it on a chicken and call it good.  So, I started easy.  I bought a McCormick Recipe Inspiration for Rosemary Roasted Chicken and Potatoes and oh my gosh was is not just Delicious! All I had to buy was the chicken because I had the potatoes and olive oil.  It was so easy.  I  cut the chicken up and mixed it and the potatoes with the blended spices that it gives you, along with the olive oil.  After roasting it for 45 mins and throwing some steamed veggies with it !VUALA! you have yourself a delicious dinner with leftovers, well if you are cooking for one like me.  So cooking healthy can be cheap, easy and might I say fun after all, you just have to know where to start.
